Course Material and License Agreement
Students understand and agree to, by signing up for the course, that all materials presented are the property of Teel Technologies Canada and / or the partner content creators, and cannot be reproduced, emulated or copied for any purposes other than for their professional obligations as law enforcement or contract personnel supporting law enforcement or their professional duties. The materials are non-transferable and cannot be used or licensed without explicit permission granted by Teel Technologies Canada or the course creator.Student Comments and Course Evaluations
Teel Technologies Canada reserves the right to use comments made on evaluation forms in promotional material. If you prefer your comments not be used, please let us know and we would be happy to comply.Payment Terms
If paying by Credit Card, payment in full is expected 30 days prior to the start of class. If paying by Purchase Order, the purchase order should be received 30 days prior to the start of class. Teel Tech Canada will follow up with an invoice. YOUR SEAT IS NOT GUARANTEED UNTIL PAYMENT IS MADE IN FULL.Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to attend the class, you can cancel without penalty 30 days prior to the start of the class. If you cancel within 30 days of the class, you will receive a 50% refund.Joining Instructions
Important Information! Receipt of joining instructions confirms that a course will take place, these will be sent to students up to 2 weeks prior to the start date of the course. An acknowledgement letter or invoice must not be seen as confirmation that a course will definitely run. Please contact our training department (training@teeltechcanada.com or 250-893-6125) before making any travel arrangements or if you are in any doubt about the course taking place.Course Confirmation
Teel Technologies Canada reserves the right to cancel a class up to thirty days in advance. An acknowledgement letter or invoice must not be seen as confirmation that a course will definitely run. Please contact the Training department before making any travel arrangements if you are in any doubt about the course taking place. In the event that a course is canceled, students will have the choice of receiving a refund check sent via mail or choosing to take another class in the future. If the class the student wished to take is a different price, the necessary payment to Teel Technologies Canada will be made by the student or a refund will provided by Teel Technologies Canada.ACCIDENT WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY I HEREBY ASSUME ALL OF THE RISKS OF PARTICIPATING IN ANY/ALL ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS TRAINING EVENT, including by way of example and not limitation, any risks that may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released, from dangerous or defective equipment or property owned, maintained, or controlled by them, or because of their possible liability without fault.
I certify that I am physically fit, have sufficiently prepared or trained for participation in this activity, and have not been advised to not participate by a qualified medical professional. I certify that there are no health-related reasons or problems which preclude my participation in this activity.
In consideration of my application and permitting me to participate in this activity, I hereby take action for myself, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns as follows:
(A) I WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE from any and all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons released, for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to me including my traveling to and from this activity, THE FOLLOWING ENTITIES OR PERSONS: Teel Technologies USA and Teel Technologies Canada, and/or their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and agents, and the activity holders, sponsors, and volunteers;
(B) INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS, AND PROMISE NOT TO SUE the entities or persons mentioned in this paragraph from any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of participation in this activity, whether caused by the negligence of release or otherwise.
I acknowledge that Teel Technologies USA, Teel Technologies Canada, Teel Technologies Europe and their directors, officers, volunteers, representatives, and agents are NOT responsible for the errors, omissions, acts, or failures to act of any party or entity conducting a specific activity on their behalf.
I agree that the Terms and Conditions shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law.
I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE READ THIS AND I FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENT. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND A CONTRACT.
